Prevention is key and yes, you can follow all the prevention tips in the book, but the truth is, occasional screening is the missing link that ensures your eyes stay in the clear. The catch? Most people don't do it. We're all busy, and taking time off for health checkups isn't always a priority. But what if there was a way to make sure everyone gets screened without disrupting their routine? That's where corporate initiatives come into play.

By bringing dry eye screening directly to the workplace, we create a win-win scenario. Employees don't have to take a day off for a health check, and companies safeguard the well-being and productivity of their workforce. It's a small investment that pays off in the long run, ensuring that everyone's eyes stay on the job without sacrificing valuable productivity. So, let's shift the narrative. Let's make dry eye screening a routine, seamless part of corporate wellness programs.

Screening Process

Opting for our full-day screening means we've got your entire team covered—effortlessly screening 35-40 individuals without disrupting your workday. We understand the value of time, and our process ensures efficiency without compromising on precision.

Equipped with the most advanced tools in the industry, we've streamlined our screening process to capture every essential detail for a comprehensive dry eye evaluation. From meibography to osmolarity and inflammation tests, our modern and sophisticated equipment ensures accuracy and efficiency.

Non-Intrusive Approach

At Auge, we've redefined the dry eye screening experience. Unlike traditional methods involving uncomfortable dye drops, our approach is virtually non-intrusive. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment, eliminating the need for invasive procedures and ensuring a more pleasant screening experience. While many optometrists still rely on dye drops, our sophisticated machines not only enhance precision in measurements but also significantly reduce liability and potential discomfort.

The Process

We have  revolutionized the dry eye screening journey for your convenience. Utilizing cutting-edge equipment, we conduct multiple tests simultaneously, such as a gland scan and tear break-up time measurement. This innovative approach ensures unparalleled time efficiency, with each employee requiring no more than 20 minutes for a comprehensive analysis.

In contrast to hour-long clinic visits, our process not only saves time but also provides more precise results. The collected data undergoes expert interpretation by Dr. Taji, guaranteeing accuracy and valuable insights into your eye health.

Following the screening, each employee receives a personalized private report, delving into specific findings and tailored recommendations. For those diagnosed with dry eye, optional follow-up sessions are available. These sessions, conducted privately upon preference, focus on discussing treatment options, recommending professionals, and guiding individuals through the choices for optimal eye care.

Measurements

    1. Tear Break-Up Time (TBUT):

      • Description: TBUT measures the time it takes for tears to break up on the eye's surface. A longer TBUT is indicative of a stable tear film, while a shorter duration may suggest dry eye. Our advanced machinery provides precise and efficient TBUT measurements, allowing for early detection and intervention.

    2. Meibography:

      • Description: This imaging technique captures detailed pictures of the meibomian glands, evaluating their structure and function. Meibography is crucial for assessing the health of these glands, which play a vital role in maintaining a stable tear film. Our technology ensures a thorough meibography analysis, contributing to a holistic understanding of your eye health.

    3. Osmolarity Tests:

      • Description: Osmolarity tests measure the concentration of solutes in tears, providing insights into the overall health of the ocular surface. Fluctuations in osmolarity can indicate dry eye syndrome. Our advanced osmolarity tests offer accurate measurements, aiding in the early identification of potential issues and guiding personalized care.

    4. Inflammation Tests:

      • Description: Specialized tests assess the presence and severity of inflammation on the ocular surface. Inflammation is a common marker of dry eye and can contribute to discomfort and other symptoms. Our precise inflammation tests go beyond standard assessments, offering detailed insights for a more targeted and effective approach to managing dry eye.

Privacy Practices: A Transparent Overview

At AUGE, we prioritize the privacy of your information during the dry eye screening process. Our approach aligns with standard medical guidelines, reflecting a commitment to confidentiality.
